Bill worked for more than 20 years in engineering. He then went to Glasgow University and gained a degree in Social Policy.
Bill got involved in the disabled peoples’ movement in the early 90’s at local and regional level. He then represented Scotland at the British Council of Disabled People (BCODP) and subsequently represented BCODP at the UK Disability Forum for Europe and, in turn, represented the UK at the European Disability Forum. Bill was a founder member of Inclusion Scotland and became the Project Manager in 2002.
In his spare time, Bill enjoys travelling and listening to the radio.
