Joe Lamb |
Joe has a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Biology from University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from the John Inness Institute, University of East Anglia. He also has qualifications in Professional writing and Legal Services.
Since retiring from the science world in 1993 Joe has became involved in voluntary work.
As well as being a Director of Inclusion Scotland, he is the Chairman of the Scottish Central Branch of the National Federation of the Blind of the UK as well as Founding Chairman of charity BASE-(Blind Activities Support Events) founded in October 2006.
Joe is married with two daughters. He has interests in Sailing, Walking, Cycling, Skiing, Swimming, Chess, Bridge, Science, History, Writing, Music and Woodwork.
