Pat was brought up in the Gorbals, Glasgow but now lives in Castlemilk. He has spent over 25 years working in the textile industry.
Pat has been involved in the voluntary sector for many years with experience in organisations such as the Strathclyde Forum on Disability and the Castlemilk Disability Forum.
He is currently involved with Inclusion Scotland, Glasgow Access Panel, Scottish Accessible Transport Alliance and Playback magazine for blind people. He also sits on the Advisory Board of NHS Scotland Access Panel.
